Batch Specimen Upload

Upload folders containing multi-angle specimen imagery along with metadata CSVs for validation and processing.

Uploading images requires a Pro or Admin/Expert account. If you think this is a mistake, contact an admin.

1) Download and fill out specimen and image data templates (specimens.csv requires specimenID + genus + specificEpithet; images.csv requires specimenId + angle + filename)

2) Set filename to either a unique basename if there are no subdirectories or a path like SPECIMEN_ID/image.jpg if you use subdirectories for each specimen.

3) Ensure Lab Name is properly filled out (applies to all specimens in this batch).

4) If using BeeMachine classification on unknown specimens, set genus and/or specificEpithet in specimens.csv to "unknown". Include date and location information for more accurate classification results.
